SUMMARY:Wildman Watamu Triathlon
DESCRIPTION:The 2026 edition of the WildMan Triathlon will take place on the 11th October 2026 at Turtle Bay Beach Club in Watamu. The event will also be a qualifier for the World Multisport Championships to be held in Edmonton\, Canada from 15th April to 25th July 2027. \nSWIM\nThis new course consists of a loop of 750m\, on each loop\, the competitors ran out and back in\nthe water again for the next loop. This way\, spectators\, family\, friends and media will be able to\nfollow the proceedings closely.\n Start Mechanism: Grand Prix start\n Expected tide height: 2m\n Deepest point: approx. 6 feet\nSafety measures\, including lifeguards on kayaks will be in place during the swim leg to ensure\nthe safety of all competitors. All competitors are advised wear brightly colored\nswim caps.
